As the People Operations Manager & Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing seamless people operations and acting as a strategic partner to align initiatives with business goals. You will handle policies, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, working closely with the Head of People and leadership to foster a positive, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Operations
Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain people policies that ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end processes for onboarding new hires and offboarding departing employees, ensuring smooth transitions.
Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, addressing workplace behavior, performance, and policy-related issues.
Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance reviews, setting OKRs, and developing employee succession plans.
HR System Management & Documentation: Oversee the HRIS for accurate data management, reporting, and people analytics to enable informed decision-making. Maintain up-to-date employee records, including contracts, reviews, and disciplinary actions, ensuring data security.
HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, handling investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions professionally.
2. People Business Partnering
Strategic Business Partner: Collaborate with department heads to align people strategies with business goals, providing insights and solutions.
Workforce Planning: Support workforce planning by identifying talent gaps and partnering with business leaders on recruitment and internal mobility efforts.
Employee Development and Engagement: Identify training needs, work with the Learning & Development team, and drive initiatives that improve culture, morale, and retention.
Talent Management and Succession Planning: Collaborate with leaders to identify high-potential employees and plan for long-term talent needs.
Project Management: Lead people-focused projects such as policy reviews, diversity initiatives, and talent development programs.
Culture Champion: Build relationships with employees and leaders, fostering open communication, driving change initiatives, and mitigating conflicts proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience, including at least 3 years in people operations and business partnering roles.
Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills.
Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
Proven discretion in handling confidential information and sensitive matters.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
Proficiency in HRIS systems, with a solution-oriented approach to leveraging HR technology.
