Position

Eseye is looking to recruit a Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing, industry-leading sales team. Working within the Eseye sales process, you will be the internal link between the Marketing and Sales elements of the process. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities through thorough lead qualification (inbound) from the marketing team and by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers (outbound) via targeted prospecting and account-based selling. Once qualified you will work to hand over these leads to the Enterprise sales team to take them through to close.


The role is full-time, currently home-based, and reporting directly to the Business Sales and Operations Manager based in the UK.


Role Requirements:


. Lead Generation: Initiate outbound prospecting activities to identify and generate new leads through various channels such as cold calling, emails, social media outreach, and networking.

· Qualifying Leads: Evaluate and qualify potential leads by conducting thorough research on target companies, understanding their needs, and identifying key decision-makers or influencers.

· Follow-Up: Conduct timely and appropriate follow-up activities with leads to nurture their interest, address queries, and facilitate further discussions or demonstrations, aiming to move them along the sales funnel.

· Engagement and Relationship Building: Engage with prospects to build rapport, understand their pain points, and effectively communicate the company's value proposition.

· CRM Management: Maintain accurate and updated records of prospect interactions, lead status, and communications in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

· Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation strategies, aligning efforts to achieve common objectives.

· Achieving Targets: Meet or exceed set targets for lead generation, qualified leads, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) within defined timelines.

· Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine prospecting strategies.

· Feedback and Process Improvement: Provide feedback to refine lead generation processes, share insights on prospect interactions, and contribute to improving sales strategies.

· Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the company's products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions and address prospect inquiries.

· Documentation and Reporting: Prepare regular reports on prospecting activities, lead pipeline status, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics for management review.

· Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate and qualify new leads.

· Utilize various channels (phone calls, emails, social media, etc.) to engage potential clients.

· Target and contact potential clients through outbound cold calls, emails, digital (sales prospecting)

· Research and identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.

· Perform desk research to build target prospect lists based on target criteria provided working with External sales team

· Accurately present our company to potential clients; identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

· Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead generation strategies.

· Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new sales offerings

· Meet and exceed monthly / quarterly targets for qualified leads.

Requirements

Skill / Person Requirements:

· Experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, Internal Sales Account Executive or similar role (ideal)

· Experience with multiple sales techniques (cold calls)

· Track record of achieving lead qualification or sales targets

· Understanding of sales performance metrics

· Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)

· Familiarity with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts)

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Degree Level education

· Needs to be resilient, reliable and determined

· Mature, hard-working with a keen attention to detail and willingness to roll their sleeves up
