Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked across the Middle East by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

This is a fun stage in the company's lifecycle as the core foundation has been but it is still early enough to assume a ton of ownership and to help shape the future of the company and its success.

We’re hiring a results-driven Merchant Acquisition Lead to lead our efforts in bringing high-quality merchants to Khazna. You’ll own the full acquisition process, from identifying potential merchants to closing deals/offers and ensuring a smooth onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target high-potential merchants through research and strategic outreach.
  • Pitch our platform’s value clearly and effectively to decision-makers using tailored, insight-backed presentations.
  • Lead negotiations and close onboarding agreements that align with company goals and standards.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve acquisition targets.
  • Oversee onboarding in coordination with the Ops team to ensure a smooth and timely transition for new merchants.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on merchant needs, market trends, and partnership opportunities.
  • Track merchant performance, report on key metrics, and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to inform merchant strategy.
  • Mentor junior team members, provide constructive feedback, and share acquisition and sales best practices.

What We are Looking For:

  • 5-7 Years of experience in Fintech & Merchant Acquisition, Sales, Business Development, or Account Management, ideally in a fast-paced company or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong communicator and negotiator who can build trust and close deals.
  • Comfortable managing high-value Merchants and working independently to drive results.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of hitting (and exceeding) acquisition or revenue targets.
  • Overlooking Marketing channels for best conversions (CRM, Social Media..etc)
