As an Analyst at BukuWarung, you will be working very closely with various teams, especially on lending projects. This role will have a deep understanding of both the business and data infrastructure, organizing and reporting internal data to drive strategic and operational decision-making. The candidate should feel comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role must be adept at taking a business need and translating it into a data requirement, and building and refining ad hoc reports.What You'll Do
- Understand the key drivers of the business (e.g. origination, repayment, conversion, unit economics/lifetime value of customer) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on defining/measuring the metrics that drive the business
- Identify opportunities that directly impact and help in the betterment of user experience and/or business goals
- Work with non-technical business users to understand their analytical needs, document and prioritize requirements, and help them effectively use the data and analytical tools that the team has developed
- Build, run, validate, and troubleshoot ad hoc reports; develop and maintain self-updating reports and dashboards in Google Data Studio, Tableau, Excel, Google Sheet,s or similar
- Define and centralize success metrics that reflect the core drivers of the team
- Collaborate to build sustainable reporting to enable better and faster insights
Who You Are
- Someone who is experienced in managing the data for lending business-related
- Loves data – will dig deep to understand the intricacies of a data set
- Have a strong curiosity about what makes a product & business tick
- Can manage discovery and reporting projects from end to end
- Know how to translate questions into a set of metrics, requirements, and/or reporting
- You have a sharp business judgment and the ability to see past the noise
Qualifications
- Min 2+ years of relevant experience in analytics
- You are a self-starter: You drive projects with minimal guidance and focus on impact work
- Strong communicator: You effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate your ideas to others
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Experience working with the operations team is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting and data visualization packages (Tableau, Amplitude, Google Data Studio), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, R, or ETL frameworks) are a plus but not required.
- Good to have: having experience with data science projects.
