As the Talent Acquisition & Business Partner Manager for the Merchant Success team, you will lead the recruitment strategy, focusing on high-volume hiring while aligning with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also act as a strategic partner, supporting the team’s growth by creating processes and policies, managing employee relations and performance, and addressing other people-related matters. Working closely with leadership, you will ensure that people initiatives align with business goals to foster a positive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition for Merchant Success Team

  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution: Lead high-volume hiring for the Merchant Success team, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies to align recruitment efforts with business needs and build a strong talent pipeline.

  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage seamless onboarding for new hires and smooth transitions for departing employees.

  • Talent Sourcing & Employer Branding: Enhance talent sourcing strategy and employer branding effort to attract quality candidates and engage future talent for team growth.

2. People Operations for Merchant Success Team

  • Policies & Procedures: Develop and maintain people processes and policies tailored to the team’s needs, ensuring legal compliance and best practices.

  • Employee Relations: Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns, addressing performance issues and ensuring a supportive work environment.

  • Performance Management & Development: Guide performance management process in MS team, set OKRs, conduct reviews, and support development initiatives with the L&D team.

  • HR Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with labor laws, handle grievances, and maintain accurate HR records.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the people operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day management and efficient delivery of people management services for the Merchant Success team.

3. People Business Partnering with Merchant Success Team

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Align talent acquisition and people initiatives with growth goals, providing workforce planning insights and managing dynamic recruitment needs.

  • Workforce Planning: Identify talent gaps, forecast hiring needs, and strategize for internal mobility and retention.

  • Culture & Engagement: Drive employee engagement and build a high-performing culture to enhance motivation and retention in the Merchant Success team.

  • Project Management: Lead HR initiatives, including process improvements, diversity programs, and performance enhancement efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in talent acquisition and business partnering roles, ideally within fast-growing companies with significant mass hiring experience, such as field sales or similar high-volume recruitment functions.

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, HR policies, employee relations, and performance management, especially within a high-growth environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and leadership within the Merchant Success team.

  • Strong strategic and problem-solving skills to address the evolving needs and challenges of the Merchant Success team.

  • Solid understanding of labor laws and HR compliance, with proven experience in handling sensitive people-related matters and ensuring compliance.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems, with the ability to leverage technology to optimize processes and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple HR projects, focusing on talent acquisition and people development, particularly tailored to the needs of the Merchant Success team.
