What to expect from the role?

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated sales intern to join our growing sales team for a 6-month internship in Bangalore/Mumbai/remote. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced sales and product professionals and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of Saas sales. This internship is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to learn and contribute to our sales team.

How will your day look like at Bureau?

Lead Generation:

  • Assist in identifying potential customers through research and market analysis.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on inbound leads and qualify prospects.

Prospecting:

  • Conduct direct outreach programs to prospects through emails, LinkedIn, and other media.

  • Schedule and participate in introductory calls and product demonstrations.

Sales Support:

  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare sales materials and presentations.

  • Assist in creating and maintaining sales documentation, including proposals and contracts.

CRM Management:

  • Utilise our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development.

  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

What does it take to be in this role?

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's/master’s degree program, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
