We're looking for a Web Security Researcher to take our behavioural and browser intelligence product to the next level. This role is ideal for a browser research driven engineer who understands browsers and the web ecosystem inside out. You are constantly obsessing on making the most of page performance, tweaking the DOM, testing out beta features on MDN docs and are excited in finding hidden cache storage and so on.

The research mandate will be the key mission of this role. On a daily basis, we want someone to translate cutting edge changes from academia to production readiness and use it to land customer impact.

What You'll Do

• Research on different elements of browser persistence enhancement

• Reverse-engineer plugins, extensions and other websites to move faster

• Break encryption and rebuild it, do this over multiple times

• Suggest production ready actionables to the web team to make direct changes on the web SDK
  

What You Bring

• Proven ability to design and conduct complex security research projects

• Deep understanding of web browsers, web automation, and client-side evasion techniques

• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Strong reverse engineering skills

• Solid grasp of internet security and privacy mechanisms

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive projects independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

• Running reverse engineering tools like burrp suite, wireshark

• Prior experience with working on privacy extensions
