About the Role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineering Intern who is excited to build scalable systems that power trust, risk, and compliance products used by leading fintechs and enterprises. You’ll work closely with our core engineering team to design, build, and ship production-grade backend services that directly impact customers.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone who wants real startup exposure—not just shadowing.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and ship backend features, APIs, and microservices

• Write clean, scalable, and testable production code

• Work on databases, system design, and performance optimization

• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions

• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve reliability of services

• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices

What You Will Bring

• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP

• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java / Python / Node.js / Go or similar)

• Understanding of APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and system design basics

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows

• Problem-solving mindset and bias for action

• Curiosity, ownership, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Exposure to microservices or distributed systems

• Past internships, projects, or open-source contribution
