Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer, who is passionate about technology, proficient in conveying technical concepts, and motivated by new challenges. This candidate will build automated deployments, through the use of configuration management tools, help create procedures for routine maintenance, deploy new products, and upgrade existing ones within different environments, and troubleshooting and resolving any related errors.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD build processes for multiple mobile and web products and platforms
• Establish an automated DevOps release management pipeline which delivers tooling for application development efforts (the Dev) and on-going production operations (the Ops) to promote CI/CD mindset.
• Report against delivery metrics.
• Continues maintenance and improvement of automation. toolchain design and implementation of scalable build, test and deployment systems.
• Own successful continuous delivery of product from Development to QA to UAT to Production.
• Ensure development teams are provided a full set of DevOps tools that include automated build process, environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and production operational metrics and debugging information.
• Develop environment and automation for high-volume, low-latency applications to deliver high-availability and performance.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies. Continuously evaluate and promote the use of new tools, techniques, frameworks, and platforms.
• Evaluates existing and planned cloud resource usage in order to identify cost optimization strategies.
• Apply security best practices and regional regulations to infrastructure management.
• Ensure all applications are fault-tolerant, highly-available, and make efficient and effective use of computing resources.
• Work closely with our software engineering team, QA team, product management, and senior management team on a regular basis,
• Prepare and implement IRP (Incident Recovery Plan) and DRP (Disaster Recovery Plan).
• Collaborate with Data Center infrastructure, security and networking teams
• Implement and maintain monitoring/alerting rules for the infrastructure resources.
• Responding to incidents and being able to take on-call responsibilities.

Technical Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in mobile and web software DevOps role
• Experience with PaaS and SaaS technologies in hosting, platform set-up, configurations, and operations.
• Experience in Microservices and Docker & Kubernetes.
• Knowledgeable of scripting with Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience with one or more configuration management systems.
• Experience with log analysis and monitoring solutions.
• Experience in DevOps implementation and deployment using Jenkins.
