Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to specialized bank for underbanked mid-to-low-income consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary 💼

The Testing Lead/Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the software testing activities in Khazna, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This role involves leading a team of testers, developing test strategies, executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives🎯.

Responsibilities 📋

• Manage creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts with the team.
• Oversee test execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Track and manage defects, work with development teams to resolve issues, and ensure timely closure.
• Identify and assess testing risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and metrics.
• Prepare and present test reports, including test coverage, defect metrics, and overall test results.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Research and implement test automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.

Qualifications🎓

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing, testing automation, and quality assurance, preferably in the fintech sector.
• 2+ years of experience in a Testing Lead or Testing Manager role.
• Proven hands-on experience in software testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Proficient in SQL, API testing, and tools like Zephyr and JIRA.
• Experience in specific testing domains (e.g., performance, security, usability).
• Knowledge of industry-standard testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a must.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
