Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to specialized bank for underbanked mid-to-low-income consumers across the Middle East. We are looking for Junior Testing Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance team in delivering reliable and high-performing software by executing assigned testing tasks and contributing to the identification and documentation of defects. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in software testing and an introduction to automation concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with QA leads and team members to understand project requirements and ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Emphasizes learning and executing manual testing techniques.
  • Understand project requirements and assist in preparing test cases and scenarios for manual testing.
  • Execute functional, regression, and exploratory testing based on provided instructions and guidelines.
  • Document test results, log defects, and follow up with senior team members for resolution.
  • Collaborate with TPMs and QA team members to validate fixes and enhancements.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating test case repositories and documentation.
  • Continuously learn and improve understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or a related field (internship experience counts).
  • Basic understanding of software development and QA principles.
  • Ability to execute test cases and report issues clearly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, particularly in automation testing. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium or Cypress is a plus. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman. Understanding of Agile workflows and methodologies. ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow in the software testing domain.
