Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.
This is a fun stage in the company's lifecycle as the core foundation has been but it is still early enough to assume a ton of ownership and to help shape the future of the company and its success.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with 4–6 years of experience working in a product company to lead complex product initiatives and deliver high-quality user experiences across our mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end product design process from discovery to delivery.
Design mobile-first product experiences including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
Translate product requirements and user insights into clear and intuitive design solutions.
Ensure high-quality UX across features and maintain design consistency.
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and other designers.
Participate in product discovery sessions and design critiques.
Present design decisions and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
Contribute to product discovery activities, including problem framing, user research, and ideation workshops.
Identify opportunities to simplify complex financial experiences.
Contribute to and evolve the product design system.
Ensure reusable components and consistent patterns across the product.
Support and mentor junior designers.
Help raise the design quality and maturity of the team.
Qualifications:
4–6 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer in a product company.
Strong portfolio showcasing mobile product design work.
Experience working within cross-functional product teams.
Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Figma.
Experience designing fintech or financial services products is a plus
Experience working with design systems and component libraries is a plus
Experience collaborating with UX research teams is a plus.
