Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing to join our Quality Assurance team at Khazna.

The role involves analyzing requirements, designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios, performing manual and automated testing and ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers and QA team members to improve test coverage, optimize regression testing, investigate defects and continuously enhance automation practices.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements, identify gaps and risks and design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications.
• Develop, enhance and maintain reusable and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Develop, execute, debug and maintain automated test scripts for web UI and/or mobile applications.
• Perform API testing and develop automated API tests.
• Maintain and optimize automated regression suites, troubleshoot automation failures and improve test coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects while collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
• Maintain test cases, automation documentation, execution reports and relevant QA artifacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation reliability, framework efficiency, and testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, including at least 2 years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building, extending and maintaining reusable automation frameworks.
• Practical experience in API testing and API automation.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests for web and/or mobile applications.
• Practical SQL skills for database validation and backend testing.
• Knowledge of automation framework concepts, including reusable components, test data management, assertions, synchronization and reporting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Very good analytical, troubleshooting, communication and problem-solving skills.
