Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn’t have a bank account. About the role

Our Brand Design team shapes how Klar looks, feels, and moves across every touchpoint — from marketing campaigns to the product itself.

We’re looking for a 3D / Motion Designer who actively uses AI as part of their creative process to help us build the next generation of brand and product visuals.

You’ll create 3D and motion work that lives across both the Klar brand and inside the Klar app.

This role sits within the Brand Design team but works closely with product designers and engineers to create visual experiences that are not only beautiful, but implemented in the product used by millions of people. AI-assisted workflows are a core part of the role, helping accelerate concept development, expand visual exploration, and enable new types of motion and generative visuals.

What you can expect:

Create dimensional brand experiences

• Design high-quality 3D visuals, animations, and motion graphics for campaigns, OOH, product launches, and brand storytelling.
• Expand Klar’s visual language through 3D assets and motion systems.

Bring the brand into the product

• Work with product designers and engineers to implement 3D assets and motion directly inside the Klar app.
• Design visuals for in-product experiences, onboarding, and feature storytelling.

Develop motion systems

• Help define how Klar moves across brand and product surfaces.
• Build reusable animation patterns and scalable motion assets.

Use AI as a creative tool

• Use AI tools for concept exploration, visual generation, and motion experimentation.
• Integrate AI-assisted workflows into motion and 3D production.
• Help the team explore new possibilities around generative visuals, AI animation, and rapid visual prototyping.

What we are looking for:

Essentials

• 3+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or 3D design
• A strong portfolio demonstrating 3D work, motion craft, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in tools such as:
• After Effects
• Cinema 4D
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative workflows (generation, concepting, or production)
• Ability to collaborate with product designers and engineers
• Strong understanding of motion principles, timing, and visual systems

Nice to Have

• Experience designing 3D assets used inside digital products or apps
• Knowledge of real-time or lightweight animation workflows (Lottie, Rive, interactive motion)
• Experience in fintech or product-driven tech companies
