The opportunity

As Country Manager Brazil you will be based out of Sao Paulo (ideally) and lead all efforts towards growing the local business and operations in the country, being the main POC with current partners and business developer for new ones (marketplaces and partnerships), including (but not excluding other relevant responsibilities):

  • Metrics & Strategy: Execute the country’s growth strategy, reporting directly to the CEO, and work closely with the VP of Marketplaces to achieve GMV and Gross Margin company objectives.
  • Business Development: Expand into new channels and manage new channels projects from inception to implementation, handling both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner Management: Act as the main point of contact for current channels/partners (e.g., Magazine Luiza, Americanas, MELI, Amazon, Carrefour, Casas Bahía) and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Legal teams to introduce new business categories and products.
  • Cost Efficiency: Improve operational efficiency in Brazil by speeding up deliveries, reducing cancellation rates, and lowering cost per order, in collaboration with Logistics and Finance teams.
  • New Business Operations: Plan and build MVPs for new business operations and oversee their execution to increase sales and profitability.
  • Ambassador & Media: Represent the local team, partners, and stakeholders in Brazil, manage the Press & Media budget, and execute media strategies.
  • Public Policy & Compliance: Work with Public Policy and Legal teams to enhance brand awareness, influence programs and policies, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What experience will help you in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong understanding of the Brazilian market.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
