The opportunity

As an AI Engineer at nocnoc, your mission will be to design and build scalable, reusable solutions that enable the team to operate more autonomously and experiment faster. You will help simplify complex operational challenges, reducing dependency on Product and Tech teams, and enabling faster MVP validation cycles. You will play a key role in building a deep understanding of sourcing and leading expansion into new supply channels. This will involve working with APIs, connectors, and other integration tools.

In this role, you will build on the team’s current use of tools like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT—evolving fast, effective individual workflows into shared, scalable systems that can be reused, extended, and deployed across the organization. Your impact will be in bridging that transition, enabling the team to move faster while standardizing and amplifying what already works well.

You will be in charge of executing the following responsibilities:

• Design and implement reusable automation frameworks for sourcing and operational workflows.
• Build an end-to-end external sourcing automation as the first scalable use case.
• Develop an On-Demand Purchasing bot based on our current sales logic, creating a replicable framework for different marketplaces.
• Create clear and structured documentation so the rest of the team can leverage and iterate on these solutions independently.
• Prototype and launch MVPs autonomously, enabling faster experimentation cycles.
• Integrate APIs and AI tools to automate processes and decision-making workflows.
• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify complex processes and reduce operational friction.

What experience will help you in this role?:

• Strong technical foundation: Industrial Engineering background with a focus on process optimization and scalable systems.
• Data & Scripting: Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, automation, and building custom logic.
• Workflow Automation: Extensive experience integrating APIs and orchestration tools (e.g., n8n) to streamline complex operations.
• AI Implementation: Hands-on experience building practical applications using LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Infrastructure & Systems: Familiarity with Docker and system architecture, ensuring solutions are robust and easy to deploy.
• Strategic Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate ambiguity, building high-impact tools from scratch in fast-paced environments.
