Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Corporate Finance will as a team contribute towards Sunday Ins Holdings (Sunday Group)’s capital and fundraising initiatives of a growth-stage insurtech group.
  • Led the due diligence process of any fundraising exercise which shall include but not limited to data preparation from all departments regionally, and sync with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all Q&A are tracked and responded.
  • Build and / or update regional financial model(s) including but not limited to P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet forecasts using agreed assumptions as part of sensitivity analysis.
  • Monitor actual against budget cashflow and runway projections as part of capital planning regionally.
  • As part of a team, proactively ensure that annual budgeting exercises are coordinated among all internal and external stakeholders according to agreed timelines and that financial budget(s) are updated accordingly.
  • Lead all financial reporting(s) for Sunday Group shareholders and board of directors including but not limited to preparing all board meeting materials.
  • Prepare and / or update all investor presentations including gathering data and information input from all internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct global and regional industry and competitor benchmarks; evaluate key insurtech and insurance industry trends.
  • Handle other ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or any analytical discipline.
  • We consider applicants who are not currently in Thailand or Indonesia and are willing to do remote work and frequent travel within SEA, especially Thailand and Indonesia.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Corporate Finance, preferably in a growth or late stage startup with regional exposure (or experience handling more than 2 countries) or a financial institution with experience supporting corporate finance efforts.
  • Experience in a full fundraising cycle, including leading due diligence, preferably experience with Series B or above.
  • Experience interacting with global and regional investors is a plus.
  • Strong in excel and financial modelling.
  • Highly detail-oriented with high standards of integrity and work ethics.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English.
