Who We Are
Yoco was founded in 2015, and has since processed over R100 billion in digital payments for over 400,000 businesses in South Africa. We’re breaking down barriers and unlocking economic opportunities that enable people to thrive.
We have over ±350 team members across our key hubs in South Africa and the Netherlands, all with a bias for boldness, and a passion for simple, progressive solutions. We believe in uniting different people to solve hard problems together.
Our mission of making society more equal takes a variety of people, with different backgrounds and points of view, so we can keep building solutions that work for and include everyone.
Yoco is growing, and as we grow we have compelling challenges ahead of us.
Growing means we’re enabling more self-employed people and businesses to thrive every day. It also means that ambitious problem-solvers with big ideas are challenged, stimulated and will thrive at Yoco.
We don’t stop pushing, we break things to rebuild, we challenge ourselves and each other. We’re constantly evolving — and we’re doing it fast.
Grow With Us.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to shape and accelerate the growth trajectory of one of our most dynamic business units, combining strategic People partnership with tangible commercial impact. You'll play a key role in organisational design, elevating leadership capability, and building high-performance sales and marketing teams during a period of significant expansion. Beyond traditional People business partnering, this role demands someone who can speak the language of sales and marketing, understands what drives these type of teams, and can translate this into compelling talent and development strategies. Your impact will be measured not just in people metrics, but in the commercial success of the teams you support and the leaders you develop. If you thrive in fast-paced environments where People expertise meets business acumen, and you're energised by the challenge of scaling teams while preserving culture, this opportunity offers the perfect platform to showcase your capabilities and be part of the Yoco story.
What You Will Be Doing
We’re looking for brave people who are relentless in their pursuit to deliver, no matter the obstacles, embodying a curious and resourceful spirit with a passion for delivering results designed around simplicity.
Dedication to your craft is evident through your commitment to quality, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional customer value.
As a mission-driven challenger, you confidently support Yoco's vision whilst questioning the status quo to achieve the best possible outcomes.
You make an impact through respectful & meaningful interactions with others, building connected relationships and being authentic, thereby unlocking the potential of those around you in favour of our collective success.
At Yoco, we love to laugh, cherish each other’s quirks, and be authentic.
Find Out More About Who We Are Here.
We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply and ask that you please send your application in English and help us reduce unconscious bias by leaving out your picture, age, address, and other unnecessary information in your CV.
