    OVERALL PURPOSE

    We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to join our engineering team and support the delivery of our platform and business bank which underpins our business. You will need to have a solid technical background, good understanding of the SDLC and a proven track record of managing a team delivering a pipeline of continuous change.

    In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the roadmap, ensuring that business priority is clearly understood and stakeholders’ expectations are effectively managed. Working closely with the engineering and product teams, you will be responsible for maintaining the delivery cadence, resolving blockers and delivery dependencies. Overall ensuring that the team delivers the specified requirements, on time and to expected quality standards.

    Duties and responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage the backlog and roadmap, ensuring that business priority is clearly understood and stakeholders’ expectations are effectively managed.
    • Coordinate the planning and delivery of the engineering team applying the appropriate best practices.
    • Ensure and manage clear communication of delivery expectations to both internal stakeholders and external partner delivery leads.
    • Work closely with the engineering team, to maintain the delivery cadence, resolving blockers, risks and delivery dependencies. Overall ensuring that the team delivers the expected business outcomes.
    • Coordinate the planning and execution of deployments ensuring minimum disruption to business. The transition must be effectively managed and clearly communicated ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are prepared and aligned.
    • Measuring the implementation efficiencies within the Agile delivery framework and ensuring teams adhere to agile best practices. This might include aligning some engineering team ceremonies, such as sprint planning, standups or refinement sessions. This would include facilitating some programme aligned agile ceremonies, such as quarterly planning, retrospectives, reviews or scrum of scrums.
    • Tracking key metrics and reporting on implementation progress with a focus on continuous improvement and optimisation.

    • Facilitating ceremonies, such as quarterly planning, Scrum of scrums and retrospectives
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills
    • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage expectations, risks and issues in a proactive manner

    • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

    THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Relevant or applicable Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of working experience as a Delivery Lead or similar role in an agile delivery environment with a proven track record of delivering business outcomes
    • A practical understanding of the software delivery life-cycle
    • Thorough understanding of project management best practices, project management certification an added bonus
    • Thorough Agile Coaching and Scrum Master experience
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams
    • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Slack - Lula uses the Atlassian stack
    • Financial services or banking experience advantageous
