Lula is seeking an experienced Restructure Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide critical capacity and expertise during a period of organisational change and technology optimisation. The primary focus of this role is to manage the end-to-end execution of our restructuring initiatives, ensuring they are executed effectively in line with formal Credit rules and compliant with customer communication standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating Existing Client Data: Evaluating clients’ credit and collections data order to apply departmental rules to restructure requests
  • Project Management: Lead the day-to-day execution of the restructure project plans, tracking milestones and ensuring all legal and internal deadlines are met.
  • Platform and internal tool Proficiency: Develop a deep understanding of our lending platform and related internal payment tools to ensure effective execution of validated restructure decisions
  • Client communication: Communicate with clients in a clear, formal manner using Lula standards to drive clear execution of restructure requests
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all restructure documentation is accurate and compliant with departmental standard, with basic notes about the actions taken on client profiles
  • Collaboration and continuous improvement: Work closely with the credit, collections, sales, finance and restructure teams to maintain and enhance high-quality decision-making processes, with a focus on improving overall portfolio performance
  • Multitasking: Exhibit the ability to handle various ad-hoc tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Credit Lifecycle Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of the credit lifecycle, including collection and restructure processes

The Experience & Skills We’re Looking For

  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Degree/Diploma in Administration, Operations or Finance preferable
  • 2-3 years Experience working in an Operations environment (preferably for a financial institution) would be advantageous
  • Familiar with working on CRM tools (such as Zendesk) would be advantageous
  • Experience in being able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Passionate about delivering customer experience above and beyond customer expectations
