Lula is seeking a Sales Operations Support to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to our B2B Sales team. This role acts as the 'connective tissue' of the sales cycle, responsible for managing the administrative burden of the application process and providing vital post-sale support to existing clients. By handling technical queries, document workflows, and continuous financial monitoring, you enable Relationship Managers to focus on high-value conversion and portfolio growth.

Key responsibilities

Application & Lifecycle Support

  • End-to-End Administrative Management: Provide full administrative support throughout the application process, ensuring all documentation is collected, verified, and uploaded timeously for Credit Risk assessment.
  • Sales Team Integration: Work closely with Relationship Managers to resolve customer queries efficiently, acting as a primary point of contact for operational bottlenecks.
  • Post-Sale Relationship Support: Manage post-disbursement administrative requirements, including assisting existing clients with account queries and basic service requests to ensure long-term retention.
  • Technical Query Resolution: Act as the first line of support for product-related questions, ensuring that both new and existing customers receive professional and accurate information regarding their facilities.

Facility Maintenance & Financial Monitoring

  • Active Financial Collection: Maintain the integrity of active funding facilities by ensuring the latest financial information (e.g., updated bank statements, VAT returns, or management accounts) is consistently received from clients.
  • Portfolio Health Tracking: Monitor and update credit files with current data to ensure the business remains in good standing and is ready for exposure reviews.
  • Documentation Compliance: Regularly audit and refresh client documentation to ensure all files meet current internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Competencies & Skills

  • Operational Grit: A 'can-do' attitude with a willingness to tackle complex administrative tasks to help the team reach monthly targets.

  • Meticulous Accuracy: Strong attention to detail when verifying business profiles, SARS documentation, and B2B contracts.

  • Agile Communication: Ability to handle incoming calls and digital queries with professional, friendly, and efficient service.

  • Systems Proficiency: Advanced ability to navigate CRM platforms (Zendesk, Salesforce, etc.) and financial data tools.

Experience Required

  • Professional Experience: 2–3 years in a sales support, operations, or administrative role, preferably within financial services or a startup environment.
  • Education: Matric with Mathematics; a Diploma or Certificate in Finance is highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with business documentation (SARS, B2B contracts) and payment gateways.
  • Regulatory Mindset: Committed to ethical standards and ensuring all interactions remain within the non-advisory framework.
