The Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role primarily focuses on delivering forward-looking financials, KPIs, and related analyses to support Verto in achieving its strategic and financial goals. The position will assist in establishing financial and metric-based objectives for various teams and provide analyses to support diverse stakeholders across the organisation in ensuring the attainment of these objectives. We are seeking candidates with robust analytical and stakeholder management skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FD in the budgeting and forecasting process and communicating with senior stakeholders to obtain the relevant inputs
• Enhance KPI metrics and optimise their reporting using Power BI

• Conduct monthly analysis of financial data and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities and pinpoint areas for improvement

• Providing support in setting KPIs/OKRs for different teams and monitor their performance

• Collaborate with the FD in implementing cost-saving strategies.

• Supervise the month-end revenue reporting process
• Implementation and deployment of necessary data tools
• Conduct any other ad hoc analyses as required internally or by the board

Requirements

Solid finance background, the ideal candidate will have a professional accounting/finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA) and/or significant finance or accounting experience

Prior FP&A experience ideally in Payment / Fintech, Tech of Banking sectors

Comfortable with analysing large data sets and have the ability to effectively communicate insights derived from data

Proficient in using Excel and PowerBI
