About The Role

The People Operations Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the business by managing employee records, facilitating onboarding (employment contracting) and off boarding, and handling employee queries. Additionally, they maintain people systems, and provide general administrative support to the people team to ensure a positive employee experience and efficient people operations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drafting and issuing Employment Agreements, ensuring adherence to applicable processes, policies and legislative requirements, keeping track of progress and communicating offer acceptance/-rejection to parties concerned
  • Supporting the onboarding processes by ensuring that all required take-on documentation is obtained, verified, accurately captured and that the individual is scheduled for the Group Onboarding activities
  • Timeous and accurate capturing, updating and maintenance of people data on all platforms and/or systems (including but not limited to BambooHR, SimplePay, Expensify, TravelPerk, Remote, Deel, Oyster)
  • Acting as the point of contact for all People-related queries, questions and requests for support
  • Drafting formal and informal letters and other documentation as may be required
  • Supporting the exit management process by ensuring that terminations are accurately captured in all systems/platforms and benefit terminations/-transfers are actioned
  • Participating in projects
  • Communication with various internal and external stakeholders

About You

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an People Administrator in a high paced, tech savvy environment
  • Experience working with the following systems: Bamboo HR, Slack, Notion, Google Suite, Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proactive and can work independently
  • Experience working in a hybrid work environment (blended remote and in-office) with proven ability to work asynchronously
  • Excellent communicator with all levels in an organisation (verbal and written)
  • Resilient and growth mind-set
  • Ability to prioritise deliverables and work load accordingly (good organisational skills)

Qualifications

  • Degree in HR Management is a prerequisite
