Our mission of making society more equal requires a variety of people, with different backgrounds and points of view, to keep building solutions that make life easier for emerging businesses.

We’re growing fast. With growth comes compelling challenges. If you’re an ambitious problem-solver, with big ideas, a passion for doing good, bright, grounded and courageous; you’re likely to thrive at Yoco.

We don’t stop pushing. We break things to rebuild. We challenge ourselves and each other. We’re constantly evolving — and we’re doing it fast.

About the Business Operations team

The Business Operations team is responsible for building and operating the core infrastructure that allows the business to scale effectively and responsibly. This includes People Operations and Experience, IT Operations, Internal Systems, Financial Controlling and Treasury, as well as oversight of international expansion initiatives, and the company’s senior leadership operating rhythm and alignment. The objective of the function is organisational health, financial integrity, operational resilience and execution discipline across the enterprise, creating the structural backbone that enables our leaders and team members to execute at their best.

About the role

This is a high-trust, judgement-based role at the heart of Yoco’s executive engine. As Executive Assistant, you will work directly with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure their time, attention, and energy are consistently directed toward the company’s highest priorities.

Beyond managing schedules, you will serve as a central coordination point for the Executive Team and Board engagements; preparing materials, tracking actions, managing logistics, and continuously improving the systems that underpin executive effectiveness. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, takes ownership without prompting, and understands how to support and enable Founders.

What you will be doing

  • Manage and maintain structured executive calendars, ensuring sequencing reflects strategic priorities and leadership cadence; proactively resolving conflicts before they arise.

  • Apply sound judgement to scheduling trade-offs, protecting executive focus and surfacing competing demands early to reduce last-minute escalations.

  • Coordinate ELT, SLT, and Board engagements end-to-end: from preparation materials and logistics through to structured action tracking and follow-through.

  • Serve as a trusted coordination point across senior stakeholders, ensuring clear information flow, defined ownership, and timely communication across leadership forums.

  • Manage domestic and international travel logistics for executive and Board engagements to a high professional standard.

  • Identify and implement practical improvements to scheduling systems and workflows, reducing friction, duplication, and recurring issues in the executive operating rhythm.

About you

  • Proven experience in a senior executive support or executive assistant role supporting multiple C-Suite Executives concurrently is a requirement

  • Ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth business environment where priorities shift quickly.

  • Relevant tertiary studies advantageous

  • Proficient in business tools Slack, G-Suite and Notion preferable

  • International travel coordination experience is a requirement

  • Board Meeting coordination experience is a requirement

  • Exceptional planning and organisational ability; you anticipate dependencies, manage complexity across multiple stakeholders, and close loops without being asked.

  • Strong judgement and discretion, with the confidence to make prioritisation calls and the professionalism to handle sensitive information at the most senior level.

  • Sharp communication skills with the ability to engage clearly and credibly across all levels of leadership, from ELT to Board members.

  • A continuous improvement mindset; you spot inefficiencies in systems and processes and take ownership of fixing them, not just flagging them.

The people we’re looking for

We’re looking for brave people who want to grow. And as Yoco grows we hope they stay with us, long term.

Growing can be a daunting task and it’s not for everyone. We never stop pushing, we break things to rebuild, we challenge ourselves, and inspire each other to push further.

So, who are you? You’re a curious problem-solver with a passion for doing good. You’re bright and grounded, experimental and brave. You play open cards and get stuck in. You’re not afraid of change. You close the loop.

We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply and ask that you please send your application in English and help us reduce unconscious bias by leaving out your picture, age, address, and other unnecessary information in your CV.
